The general public is advised that as of 19 February 2016 all handwritten Bahamas passports became null and void. All persons in possession of manual passports should immediately surrender them to The Bahamas Embassy in Beijing and apply for an electronic passport.

This Public advisory was in effect from last year. Please convey this notice among the Bahamian community.
