On January 11 and 12, 2007, Head of Mission, Mr. Philip Miller was taken on a tour of the factory of Nuctech Company Limited, located in Miyun, a suburb of Beijing.

 

 

 

 

Mr. Wang Liming, Head of the International Project Department of Nuctech,

showed Mr. Miller wide range of machinery, produced by Nuctech, to scan cargo at airports, docks and railway stations.

 

 

 

 

 

 

While at the factory, Mr. Miller met with Mr. Tyrone Palmer, Mr. Elseworth Rolle and Mr. Leonard Johnson, three Bahamians, who presently are being trained to operate two container scanners, purchased recently by the Bahamas Customs Department.
