Embassy Head Inspects Customs Scanning Equipment

The Commonwealth of The Bahamas has negotiated the purchase of two X-ray scanning machines from Nuctech Company Ltd., in the People's Republic of China, to be used by the Bahamas Department of Customs to inspect containers entering the ports of Nassau and Grand Bahama. Mr. Clifford Ferguson, Assistant Comptroller of Bahamas Customs,

visited Nuctech in late October to finalise plans for the shipment of the scanners to The Bahamas.
