Bahamians at China's Agricultural Workshop

The Head of the Bahamas Embassy in Beijing, Mr. Philip Miller, delivered one of the key-note addresses at the opening ceremony of the Forum of China International Commercial Cooperation, 2007, held in Beijing on February 4th 2007. The event was organized by the China International Exchange Association and was attended by diplomats from many countries.

About forty major corporations in China participated in the Forum, promoting their products and services that ranged from home appliances, solar energy equipment to fertilizers to human resource management and banking.
 
 
 
 
 
At the Forum, Mr. Miller exchanged greetings with scores of Chinese business executives interested in learning more about the commercial potential in The Bahamas. As many of them also expressed and interest in vacationing in The Bahamas, Mr. Miller, in his speech, referred to the Bahamas-China Agreement, signed in 2005 to facilitate travel of Chinese tourists to The Bahamas.
