The Deputy Prime Minister held his annual Diplomatic Reception in honour of Bahamas Independence at the Ministry's East Hill Street Building. Guests at the reception included senior government officials and diplomats accredited to The Bahamas. This photograph shows the Hon. Brent Symonette, Deputy Prime Minister, and Dr. Patricia Rodgers, Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, greeting the Ambassador of China to The Bahamas.
